Back day complete! My staple exercises that I almost ALWAYS use would be the following- Bent Row (barbell or smith machine) Lay Pulldown Cable Low Row These are nothing fancy but are my favorite exercises when it comes to back development. No I am not saying you have to do these exercises but I would suggest that for most people there are exercises that should be staples across the board. Yes some people may not be able to feel the muscle properly doing barbell bent row. But most people I think would benefit! And if you aren’t feeling barbell bent row then do a variation in place. Maybe it’s one arm rows or t bar rows or it’s a machine row. My favorite realization I’ve had this past week? I have no idea what my body will look like a month from now. Will my arms be more defined? Will my waist continue to get smaller while my hips refuse to budge? 😂 Will my collar bones be more visible? Relosing almost 40 pounds was not my favorite task, but I’m back to where I was before. Along the way I had an idea of what my body would look like at each weight. How many inches my waist or arms would be. But I have no idea what I look like 10 pounds from now. I’ve been a size 18 or more my entire adult life. I’m currently a 14/16, and the last time I was a true 14 I was probably in middle school. So, I’m looking forward to finding out. And I’m looking forward to finally reaching that 100 pound loss from my highest weight. 💪🏻🙌🏻

Speed without today. 3x1600m with a goal pace of 10:39 and 400m rest breaks in between. I only hit my first pace because it was so cold running it literally made my head feel like I had a cold. My ears are still hurting and it’s been two hours 👎🏽. Overall I’m happy with my session though. I did it differently than I normally do my speed workouts so it was a test. Plus I had brand new shoes on! Do you guys like running in new shoes?
