I don’t like this but ur welcome -Cami-
Steve came around to the police station to bail him out and one of the cops came around to collect him. Bucky went to leave, but then he looked back at y/n sleeping peacefully. He still had questions, he couldn’t just ignore this, she was mysterious and there were things he just couldn’t explain. “Have you got a pen?” The cop grabbed a pen out of his pocket and passed it to Bucky, watching him carefully to assure there was no funny business.
He gently grabbed y/n’s hand and scrawled his number and a message on the back of it. “Call me, I have questions I need to ask you. -Bucky aka the coolest guy you’ve ever met in a holding cell.” Then he passed the pen back to the cop and made his way out of the police station with Steve.
About ten hours later, he was in the gym in the Avengers compound, punching a bag when he heard his phone ringing. He picked it up and saw an unsaved number calling him. Hoping it was y/n, he answered it. “Hello?” He asked, unsure. “Hi, Bucky? It’s y/n. You wanted to ask me.. uhh questions?” Bucky cleared his throat, “yeah I know that sounds like a weird request.. Uhh these questions are probably better off asked in person, do you wanna meet up somewhere?” He could hear y/n thinking on the other end of the line. “I’ll meet you at the bar we were at last night at around eight.” He scrawled it on a sticky note and stuck it to the wall, just in case he forgot. “Ok, I’ll see you then.” At eight, y/n waited anxiously for Bucky at the bar. She didn’t know how much of her story she’d told him last night, she wondered what he knew. She tapped her fingers on her glass, making soft, fretting tinkling noises. Bucky arrived and she greeted him with a smile. He returned it and sat down. For a moment, they sat in uncomfortable silence until he finally asked his questions. They were all questioning the off hand remarks she’d been making about leading a long life and how she hadn’t worked in twenty years. So she told him everything. She told him that back in about 1958 she was going about her day when she was attacked and bitten by a man with blood red eyes.
